After a long, hard search for a sorrel herd sire, we finally found him. Cherry is a nice small, stocky and correct guy with great pedigree. Everything we were looking for. With a nice select group of jennets to breed him to, we can't wait to see his foals. Look for Cherry's foals to arrive August 2009. We searched a long time looking for a small, correct jack that would produce various colors. Then we found Nicklesworth at Ponderosa Donkey Farm in Iowa. After talking to Gary Shebeck at Ponderosa Donkey Farm and Kathy Heiken at Heiken's Ark
( Nicklesworth's Previous owner ) we decided he was our guy.
He is Short, Stocky, Correct and has a real laid back & loving personality not to mention a great pedigree.
He has sired babies of all colors including Red, Black, Brown and Spotted. We are proud to have him as part of our donkey family.
We would like to Thank Gary & Connie Shebeck for letting us have the privilege to own such a great jack.

This is one thick boned jack! His great coloring is that hard to find sorrel roan on white.
You look at him and he just takes your breath away. He has nice straight legs and a big round rear.
We are very happy to be adding him to our herd.
